Research Assistant (E13, D2IP, IV-380/24)

The Department of Information Integration and Data Preparation (D2IP) conducts basic and applied research in data integration, data pre-processing and data science. We are currently seeking research assistants (PhD students) in one or more of the following topics:

• (1) Researching technologies and systems for detecting data errors in massive datasets.
• (2) Researching scalable methods for generating data preprocessing workflows.
• (3) Researching systems and technologies for efficiently finding datasets in large data lakes.

The position serves your own scientific qualification (doctorate) and includes teaching. This entails organizing and conducting courses, possibly tutorials and internships as well as the supervision of student work. You will also support study counseling and assist in conducting and organizing exams.

Salary grade: TV-L 13, Berliner Hochschulen
Starting date: Earliest possible (limited for 5 years)
