Student Assistant Position (40 hrs/month) – Berlin / TU Berlin | LEAP Research Project

Support for the research project “LEAP,” funded by the Software Campus, at the Chair of Information Integration and Data Preparation. The project focuses on the use of large language models (LLMs) for generating data pipelines. The role involves assisting with the following tasks under supervision:

• Development of a department-owned pipeline generation platform for scientific purposes (Approx. 70% of working hours):
• Design and implementation of a prototype that enables the automated creation of data pipelines based on user input or existing data sources
• Integration of interfaces for interaction with the model (e.g., API, web interface)
• Evaluation and optimization (Approx. 30% of working hours):
• Conducting experiments to validate the generated pipelines in terms of accuracy, efficiency, and user-friendliness
• Comparison with existing pipeline generation approaches and identification of areas for improvement
