Buckle up for an exhilarating digital escapade! BIFOLD is thrilled to announce its participation in this year's Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften (LN8dW) with a specially designed event for young science enthusiasts and their families.
On June 22nd, 2024, from 05:00pm to 10:00pm, BIFOLD invites children aged 9 to 15, along with their families, to join in a captivating digital scavenger hunt. Experience a hands-on introduction to the divers field of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data management. Join Rae Punzel, a young scientist at BIFOLD, in a digital scavenger hunt to find her missing friend, the little chip AKI.
To participate, simply download the Actionbound app on site and bring headphones. The scavenger hunt lasts approximately 30-40 minutes, starting in the foyer of the Fraunhofer-Institut für Nachrichtentechnik, Heinrich-Hertz-Institut (HHI), located at Einsteinufer 37, 10587 Berlin. The adventure concludes at the former Lanolin Fabrik, Salzufer 15/16, 10587 Berlin. No prior registration necessary. The game will be conducted in German.
An additional note for all parents and/or older teenagers: at the former Lanolin Fabrik, HHI researchers will showcase their own cutting-edge AI research in the form of several interactive demos. Guests can enjoy complimentary drinks and Brezels as a snack.
