Markl and Müller among Berlin´s 100 most important scientist
The two initiators and co-directors of BIFOLD, Prof. Dr. Volker Markl and Prof. Dr. Klaus-Robert Müller, have been recognized by Berliner Tagesspiegel to be among the 100 most significant figures in the scientific community of Berlin. The editorial team assessed and selected the scientists based on their contributions in shaping the AI-scene, excellence in teaching, and ground-breaking research that paves the way for tomorrow's insights and innovations. The list was presented from October 9th to October 20th, 2023, and featured a diverse range of scientists from various institutions such as Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Freie Universität, Technische Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Max Planck Society, Hertie School of Governance, and, of course, BIFOLD.
